Ambassador Cao Zhongming Attends the 2026 Singapore-China Youth Leaders Forum
On July 25, Ambassador Cao Zhongming attended the 2026 Singapore-China Youth Leaders Forum organized by the National Youth Achievement Award (NYAA) Council of Singapore and delivered a speech. Mr. Goh Pei Ming,Senior Minister of State for Home Affairs and for Social and Family Development of Singapore, addressed the forum to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on youth. Minister-Counsellor Han Jun was also present.

In his speech, Ambassador Cao noted that artificial intelligence is profoundly transforming human lives, making its governance and cooperation critical topics. While technology can change the world, trust is what connects it, and young people are the most vibrant force for innovation and a vital bridge for enhancing cooperation. He expressed his hope that young people from both countries will maintain a passion for learning and an open mindset, make good use of exchange platforms, create value in practice, and build friendships through mutual learning. In so doing, they can have a greater global vision and sense of responsibility fitted for the new era, and better contribute strength to China-Singapore friendship and global development.

Under the theme "Empowering Leaders of Tomorrow through Trust, Innovation, and Collaboration in an AI-Powered World," the forum brought together 350 university students from Singapore and China, including Beijing, Heilongjiang, Shandong, and Jiangsu, to jointly explore the responsibilities and future of youth in the age of artificial intelligence.
