Ambassador Cao Zhongming Attends the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 Conference on International Industrial Cooperation
On May 28, Ambassador Cao Zhongming attended the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 Conference on International Industrial Cooperation and delivered a speech. Zhang Li, Assistant Minister of Commerce of China delivered a video address. Ms. Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State of the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth and Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore also attended and addressed the event.

Ambassador Cao stated that China has steadily promoted the implementation of the 15th Five-Year Plan and worked with the world for common development. China's economic development is injecting momentum into regional economies, and industrial investment and project implementation are driving the clustering of upstream and downstream industrial chains in regions, promoting international cooperation to move towards a new stage of synergy between industrial chains and production capacity gradually. China will unswervingly promote high-level opening up, continue to deepen industrial cooperation with other countries, and bring greater development opportunities to enterprises across the world.
The 2026 Conference on International Industrial Cooperation is jointly organized by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products and the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and aims to promote high-quality economic and trade cooperation between China, Singapore and other countries in the region.
Approximately 500 representatives from political, business, and academic circles from various countries attended the conference.
Ambassador Cao also attended the CEO Roundtable Dialogues on Industrial and Supply Chains.
