On February 28, 2026, the Chinese Embassy in Singapore held a Chinese New Year reception for Chinese Students in Singapore. Ambassador Cao Zhongming delivered a speech, Minister Counsellor Zhu Jing and Minister Counsellor Han Jun were also present. More than 200 Chinese students and guests joined the event.

In his speech, Ambassador Cao extended Chinese New Year greetings to the attendees. He encouraged Chinese students to integrate their personal aspirations into the grand blueprint of national rejuvenation, strive to be pioneers with a dragon-horse spirit and jointly build the Chinese modernization.
