Ambassador Cao Zhongming Attends the Chinese New Year Gathering of Business Associations of China and Singapore
On February 19, 2026, the third day of the Chinese New Year, Ambassador Cao Zhongming attended the Chinese New Year Gathering co-hosted by the Singapore Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China, the China Enterprises Association (Singapore), and the SingCham Alumni Singapore. More than 300 people attended, including Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, and representatives from the political and business sectors. Counsellor Kang Yiming of the Embassy was also present.

In his remarks, Ambassador Cao reviewed the remarkable achievements in China-Singapore economic and trade cooperation over the past year and expressed his hope that in the new year, the business communities of both countries would be full of energy, maintain their tireless efforts, and further explore cooperation potential, so as to jointly write a new chapter in high-quality China-Singapore economic and trade cooperation.

In her speech, Low Yen Ling said that the relationship between Singapore and China had a long history and the business communities of the two countries cooperated closely. She believed that the high-quality cooperation between the two countries would reach a new level in 2026.
