On February 13, Chinese Ambassador to Singapore Cao Zhongming attended a Lantern Festival Comedy Night co-hosted by the Chinese Enterprises Association (Singapore), Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry，and Singapore Chinese Cultural Center. Also present were Minister-Counsellor Zong Changqing, Counselor Qin Wen, and Counselor Kang Yiming.

In his speech, Ambassador Cao noted that over the past 25 years since its establishment, the Chinese Enterprises Association (Singapore)  has become an important participant and promoter of economic and trade cooperation between China and Singapore. He encouraged the Chinese Enterprises Association to actively engage in exchanges and cooperation with Singapore's business associations with the perseverance of snakes, contributing more to the deepening of trade and investment cooperation between Chinese and Singapore enterprises. He especially thanked performing artists who came all the way from China for their splendid performances, which added brilliance to the cultural exchange between China and Singapore.

The performing artists presented excellent crosstalk programs such as "Nezha's Ruckus in the Sea", "Journey to the West Discourse", and "Humor for Your Enjoyment" to the audience, earning a round of applause and laughter. This Lantern Festival Comedy Night was held at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Center, with nearly 300 audience from Chinese and Singaporean enterprises and business associations.
