Today is the 12th China Tourism Day. The reason of May 19 designated as the National Tourism Day is that it is on this day in 1613 that Xu Xiake, a famous Chinese traveler, geographer and literary scholar in Ming Dynasty, began to write his book Xu Xiake’s Travels.

The Chinese Embassy in Singapore cordially invites you to attend the “China Travel Course”, to discover the real China and acquire more knowledge about China tourism. Through the course, people will start a “virtual journey” to learn about China’s most fascinating destinations, unique cultural experiences, must-try dishes, and get a host of other practical travel information. As for travel agents, the course will provide a broad range of knowledge and skills on China’s fast developing tourism industry, so as to be prepared to  serve clients in the future. Those who complete the core twenty courses and five electives will receive a "China Travel Specialist" certificate.
