On 3rd December, Chinese President Xi Jinping announced China has accomplished its poverty alleviation target of the new era as scheduled. Through eight years of sustained work, China has removed all poor counties from the poverty list, and eradicated absolute poverty and regional poverty.

On 1st February, the exhibition "Better Life, Dream Comes True"-Poverty Alleviation in China co-organised by the State Council Information Office of the People's Republic of China, the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development, China and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Singapore, will kick off.
