On June 11th, Ambassador Cao Zhongming and his wife Yang Qing attended 2025 Chongqing Week in Singapore and “China, an Opportunity: Chongqing Brands" Global Promotion, and toured the exhibition. Mr. Xu Jian, Vice Mayor of the Chongqing Municipality, Mr. Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information & Ministry of Health of Singapore, also attended the event.

In his speech, Ambassador Cao said this year marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Singapore, as well as the 10th anniversary of the China – Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative Connectivity on Strategic (CCI). Today's Chongqing Week in Singapore is among a serie of events commemorating the anniversaries. CCI has become a key platform for western China to high-level open up and build the new development paradigm, setting a model of our bilateral cooperation.

During the Chongqing delegation's visit in Singapore, Ambassador Cao also met with the delegation and attended the 2025  CCI-ILSTC Trade and Financial Conference. Minister Counsellor Zong Changqing of the Embassy was also present at the above events.
