Ambassador Cao Zhongming Attends the Installation Ceremony of the 33rd Council of Singapore-China Business Association
On June 3, Ambassador Cao Zhongming attended the Installation Ceremony of the 33rd Council of Singapore-China Business Association and delivered a speech. Ms. Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth of Singapore, officiated the ceremony. Minister Counsellor Zong Changqing of the Embassy was also present.
In his speech, Ambassador Cao congratulated President Toh Tiau Lai and the new council on their assumption of office, spoke highly of the contribution made by the association to promoting China-Singapore cooperation, and wished the association a prosperous future, and would make new contributions with all relevant parties to China-Singapore cooperation.
Singapore-China Business Association was established in 1970 and currently has nearly 500 corporate members. For more than 50 years, the association has been dedicated to promoting economic, trade and cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Singapore, which has made positive contribution to the economic development of both countries.
