On April 24, Ambassador Cao Zhongming attended the China-Singapore Tourism Cooperation Forum & Culture and Tourism Industry Promotion Conference of Shandong 2025. More than 100 representatives from China and Singapore tourism industry were also present.

In his speech, Ambassador Cao noted that since China-Singapore mutual visa exemption arrangement took effect, tourism exchanges between the two nations have seen a positive trend of “two-way flow”. In the first quarter of this year, China remained the largest source of inbound tourists to Singapore, while interest in travailing to China has also been on the rise among Singaporeans. The booming popularity of “Travel to China” vividly reflects China's unwavering commitment to high-level opening-up. China is willing to continuously deepen and broaden cooperation in tourism sector with Singapore, enhance friendship between the two peoples and promote mutual understanding through tourism.

The China-Singapore Tourism Cooperation Forum & Cultural and Tourism Industry Promotion Conference 2025 is part of the China Travel Fair 2025 series. The China Travel Fair 2025 is being held at the China Cultural Centre in Singapore from April 24 to 27.
